Men's Attire in Maui
One of the perks of getting married in the tropics is that it can be very casual. Most of our beach weddings even go shoeless.
Here in Maui men's formal wear is considered a pair of khaki slacks and a nice floral aloha shirt and a clean pair of flip flops. The groom and the groom's men are traditionally adorned with beautiful flower leis and the groom traditionally wears a green leafy Maile Lei (the Hawaiian version of a boutonniere).
Considering the number of weddings held in Maui every year it's surprising that we don't have a high end formal wear rental company. If you're looking for a more formal and stylish look for the men in the wedding party, I would have to suggest finding something special on the main land.
We all know that the bride calls the shots but if she's in to it going casual with some beautiful aloha shirts is really very common in Maui.
Men's Grooming
When it comes to pre-wedding hair cuts, it’s usually suggested that the groom get a hair cut a few days prior to the wedding to give it a chance to grow out and look more natural.
If any member of the party needs a men’s hair cut I have a very skilled barber that I’ve worked with many times. He will come to you with all his supplies and make it super easy.
